Samanta Nerea Gancedo was born in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires Province, on November 11th, 1987. She graduated as a Biologist in March 2018 and is currently a PhD student in the LABORATORY OF MOLECULAR PHARMACOLOGY AND ONCOLOGY under Dr. González and Dr. Davio’s direction. She has a CONICET fellowship and the title of her work is: “ABORDAJE INTERDISCIPLINARIO PARA EL DESARROLLO Y OPTIMIZACIÓN DE APLICACIONES FARMACOLÓGICAS EN TERAPIAS DIRIGIDAS A CÁNCER DE PÁNCREAS Y DE VESÍCULA BILIAR Y VÍAS BILIARES: VALIDACIÓN DE BLANCOS TERAPÉUTICOS, DISEÑO Y OPTIMIZACIÓN RACIONAL DE FÁRMACOS”.

Samanta enjoys spending time with her family and friends and plays soccer in a team which has recently ascended to the top league in Mar del Plata. She is currently seeking to join a team here in Buenos Aires.
