Carlos Daniel Zappia was born in the city of Buenos Aires, on 29 May 1983.

He studied at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry (FFyB) of the University of Buenos Aires where he was graduated as Pharmacist (2009) and Biochemist (2011) and subsequently obtained his doctoral degree studying the "Cross-talk between Glucocorticoid Receptor and Histamine H1 receptor signaling pathways"(2016).

He is currently part of the LABORATORY OF RECEPTORS’ PHARMACOLOGY and develops his teaching career at the University of Buenos Aires as Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry of the Pharmacy career (Pharmacology Department, FFyB.
