Sonia Ripoll was born in 1988 in Avellaneda.

She studies biochemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of the University of Buenos Aires.

She was granted with an undergraduate student scholarship from the National Institute of Cancer and works in the LABORATORY OF SIGNAL TRANSDUCTION AND DRUG DESIGN evaluating GRK2 participation in the proliferation and migration of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cells.

In her spare time she enjoys practicing sports outside and growing as a sociopolitical activist.
